GET INTO COACHING

We are always on the lookout for new coaches and assistant coaches after all our volunteers are what makes grassroots football work.

REASONS TO COACH

Have you ever fancied yourself as a football coach? Think you could develop and motivate players?

Coaching provides a range of benefits, including:

  • A way to give back to the game and local community
  • Learning and re-learning leadership lessons
  • Getting a good work out...& becoming a good role model
  • The opportunity to develop new skills
  • A chance to meet and make new friends

As a FA grassroots affiliated at MBFC we support and fund all our all our coaches to achieve their FA Level 1 Coaching Qualification

For those who want to do more we have also supported coaches to go on and do their Level 2 Qualification, Goalkeeper Coaching and Referee Training.

Your Journey Starts Here - Leicestershire & Rutland County FA (leicestershirefa.com)

If you are not sure what coaching entails then the very best way to start is to have a friendly chat to one of our existing coaches and see how they got involved.

If you don’t feel ready to coach yet there are still lots of other ways to get involved on match days. We are always looking for parents to help run the line or to step in and support coaches when an extra pair of hands is needed.

Let us know how you would like to get involved.

Volunteering is how grassroots football thrives.

For an informal chat with no obligation please email [email protected] , DM us via our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/marketbosworthfc/ or strike up a conversation with any of our coaches
